About RubyJoyful

As part of a life commitment to service, Joice Moore and Dan Rubinoff of RubyJoyful use the incredible power of music to help others heal, relax, and learn. Both Joice and Dan are former schoolteachers who have spent time working with children with special needs in Colorado. Music was a part of their everyday classrooms. Now, they are taking that magic of healing music to the greater world and sharing it with others in need around the country.

The Beginning

It all began in a small warehouse on the island of Chios in Greece in 2018. Joice and Dan were volunteering at a refugee center servicing families escaping the horrors of war in the Middle East. They began playing music with a tiny guitar and two voices for weary mothers, fathers, grandparents, and children exhausted from the perils of dangerous travel and harsh conditions living in an overcrowded refugee camp.

The impact of their music was life-changing. They discovered that simple songs sung and played in a relaxing manner could bring smiles to the faces of the most distressed people they had ever met. Since then, they have devoted a special part of their lives to delivering this healing to others.
